Datacon is a builder-led general contractor for new construction and high-end renovations. We coordinate the project in BIM — bringing design, structure, trades, and construction requirements into one coordinated process — then carry that information into the field.

Because the same team that coordinates the model also carries it into construction, information developed during planning stays connected to the field, giving owners better visibility into scope, cost, and quality.
For us, BIM isn't a picture of a building. It's how we manage the way it gets built — aligning planning, procurement, sequencing, and construction into one coordinated process. Challenges are identified early, before they reach the field, when they cost less to solve.
MASS TIMBER
Mass timber is fabricated off-site, so site conditions and interfaces need to be confirmed before panels are cut. That depends on work we already do: scanning existing conditions, coordinating trades in the model, and maintaining tolerances between what's designed and what's built.

OUR MISSION
Datacon grew from decades of hands-on experience as craftsmen and builders, and from seeing the challenges traditional project delivery can create on architecturally complex work.
The goal is to bring greater clarity into the process before construction begins. BIM allows design, existing conditions, structure, trades, sequencing, and cost to be explored and coordinated earlier — helping reduce uncertainty while giving the design room to develop.
